Send it from the app
Feedback is sent from the app while signed in.
You do not need a diagnosis. What happened, what you expected and how to repeat it are enough to start.
Open Send feedback
Choose Send feedback in the sidebar. For a specific ticket, choose Report this action on that ticket instead.
What you see: Your reports and the feedback form. A ticket report carries the selected ticket’s context.
Tell me what happened
Choose Type and fill in Description. Turn on Contact me and enter your email if you want a reply.
What you see: Contact me starts off. Ticket reports list automatic diagnostics; plan and latest session message are separate choices, both off.
Review, then Send
Expand the JSON preview and check what you are sharing. Press Send when it is ready.
What you see: A successful send returns a reference and state. Keep the reference. If delivery fails, read the reason before using Retry.
Your report, your choice
What a report contains
A report contains type, description, send time and any chosen contact or ticket diagnostics.
Never attached automatically
Automatic attachments never include ticket descriptions, code changes or session transcripts.
Review anything you type or choose to include. Recognizable credentials are redacted before the preview, but check it for private details yourself. Read exactly what a report contains.
What happens next
- Received
- The intake has accepted your report.
- Being looked at
- I am investigating it.
- Answered in a release
- The state names the version with the answer.
Open Your reports to check its current state. A report can also be Closed; there is no guaranteed response time or fix date.
If sending is unavailable
If an unreachable report is saved successfully, it appears as Offline and the app sends it on the next launch. Stale means the last report state could not be refreshed.
