Sending feedback

Open a report, choose what to share and check its delivery. This guide explains the diagnostic fields, optional text and offline behavior so you know what leaves your machine.

Open the sheet

Feedback is sent from the app while signed in.

  1. Choose the report context

Choose Send feedback in the sidebar, or Report this action on a ticket.

What you see: Your reports opens with a form. Report this action includes the selected ticket’s key, title, stage, status line and reason.

  2. Describe the problem

Choose Type and enter Description. Turn on Contact me and enter an email only if you want contact.

What you see: Contact me starts off. Ticket reports offer separate optional choices for plan and latest session message.

What is sent

The report includes type, description and send time, plus email if requested. A ticket report includes its ticket context and available diagnostics: app version, observed driver version, operating system, published attempt outcomes and wall times.

Plan and latest session message are separate choices, both off by default. Unavailable evidence is shown as Not available. Recognizable credentials are redacted before the JSON preview is serialized.

The ticket’s description, your code changes and session transcripts are never sent automatically. Review your own description and the preview for sensitive details.

Send, retry and offline reports

Sent report states refresh when the list opens and every minute while it stays open, no more often than once a minute. Retained sent reports omit the optional plan and session text.

  1. Review and send

Expand the JSON preview, review the report and press Send.

What you see: A successful send shows its reference and state. An ordinary failure offers Retry with the same bytes. An unreachable report saved successfully appears as Offline and is sent on the next launch.

  2. Check its state

Open Your reports and select a sent report.

What you see: The reference and returned state appear with the report. Failed state reads add Stale to the last known state.
